Crime Strikes Dublin, Lives on the East Side

Numbers eleven and twelve in our count… And if anyone ever again tells me the east side is safe, they need professional help…

NBC 4:
A man remained in critical condition Tuesday morning after being shot in the face. Close to 3 a.m. Monday, Columbus Police were dispatched to the area of East Livingston Avenue and South 22nd Street. Police said 32-year-old Scott Martin was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

NBC 4: Police were called to the National City Bank this morning at 1850 E. Dublin-Granville Road on a reported robbery. A man approached the counter with his hand in his pocket implying a weapon and handed the teller a note. The teller was in the process of putting away the previous customer’s night deposit bag when he slammed his hands on the counter, grabbing an almost-empty deposit bag. The man fled the scene on foot with only the bag and a little cash in his hands. The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, 5’7”, medium build with a mustache. Anyone with information is asked to call the Columbus Robbery Squad at (614) 645-4665.
