Skye Bar will close next month. According to multiple sources, the club has defaulted on it’s rent and has actually been losing money for several months. By January 1, Skye Bar will be unable to pay it’s employees and therefore cannot continue, what one source called, “an unsustainable financial pattern.”
The 10,055 square foot Skye Bar, which is located next to McFadden’s, was developed by Frog, Bear, and Wild Boar Bar Owners Tom Selvaggio and David Allsbrooks. No one associated with Skye Bar could be reached for comment concerning this story.
