I read and I read this and I read this and still I have the same thought… How did Ohio elect Moron Dann in the first place?
10 TV: One of two women at the center of a scandal that led to the resignation of former Attorney General Marc Dann announced that she was leaving her position on Friday. In a letter to Attorney General Nancy H. Rogers, Vanessa Stout said that her requests for a transfer out of the Attorney General's office were not granted and she could not allow her health to deteriorate further.
"The actions of Mr. (Anthony) Gutierrez, Mr. Dann and others have made it impossible for me to continue working in the office," Stout wrote. "As you know, the events leading to this investigation and the treatment I received thereafter have caused me extraordinary emotional distress."
In May, Stout and fellow staffer Cindy Stankoski came forward with claims that Dann's General Services Director, Anthony Gutierrez, pressured them for sex. The scandal worsened for Dann after he admitted having an affair with an employee in the office. He stepped down from office on May 14.
Stout's attorney told 10TV's John Fortney on Friday that he was still negotiating a settlement with the state of Ohio. He said he would file a sexual harassment lawsuit if those negotiations fall through.
