NBC 4: OSU police has issued a crime alert. A female student reported she was sexually assaulted at Hopkins Hall last week. She said she was assaulted at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2. The suspect was described as a white male who is college-age. He is 6 feet tall with an average build. He has very short light-brown or dark-blond hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a T-shirt and a hoodie. Anyone with information was encouraged to call CPD at 614-645-4545 or campus police at 614-292-2121. You also can report information anonymously to the Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-645-TIPS or the University Crime Stoppers tips line at 614-247-TIPS.
I know… crimes happen everyday in this city… but this at minimum the fifth violent crime I’ve counted since the cop reduction announcement… Anyone think that’s a coincidence?
10 TV: The Ohio State University Marching Band was invited on Monday to perform in the 56th Inaugural Parade in Washington, D.C. If the band accepts the invitation, they will join representatives from across the country in the parade down Pennsylvania Avenue following President-elect Barack Obama's swearing-in ceremony on Jan. 20, 2009.
