NBC 4: At the council meeting Tuesday night, a motion was made to vote on Eileen Paley as a new council member… Paley, a lawyer and member of the Columbus Civil Service Commission was voted in on a 3-2 vote. Troy Miller, owner of ATM Central Development, was also voted in by three yes votes.
If you’ve been following the back and fourth on this (NBC 4 has had excellent coverage), you know it’s gotten nasty… I know politics is always a fight… But, seriously… over two council seats?
NBC 4: The Columbus Division of Police are currently investigating the latest robbery that happened this morning inside the Kroger on Solando Blvd. Reports say a black female approached the teller and demanded money. The suspect alleged there was a bomb in the trash can that would be “activated if the teller did not comply”. The teller handed over an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect then approached a second teller demanding more money. The suspect then fled the store. She is described as a black female, 28-30 years old, 5’9”-6’tall, 170-190 lbs with shoulder-length dark hair with streaks of blonde mixed in. Police are asking if you have any information, to call (614) 645-4666.
Another one I technically cant count (no injuries)… But, it was worth a mention…
10 TV: Expect more snow and continued cold on Wednesday…. The Columbus metro area could receive up to 2 inches of snowfall. High temperatures on Wednesday will reach 22 degrees. Snow flurries will stick around through Thursday. It will be very cold, with daytime highs only reaching 11 degrees.
Please oh please let the road crews do their jobs… Gossip CBUS has events to cover…
