“Green Drinks Columbus,” which WWHO spent several weeks promoting, was almost canceled. Due to a still unspecified scheduling conflict, the Garage Bar informed organizers they were unable to host them. Lodge Bar relocated the entire event, less than one hour prior to it’s start.
The Garage Bar was one of ten venues throughout the city to host a Blue Jackets playoff viewing party. No one associated with the Garage Bar could be reached for comment concerning this story.
Green Drinks Columbus, organized by Green Columbus, was “a networking event meant to encourage public discussion and action towards building a sustainable society and planet.” The transplanted event featured performances from five musical acts.
