Easton Evaluation: Tiffany’s

Since it’s creation, Easton has always been the unrivaled shopping kingdom of Columbus. While a great many stores (including Coach), were accomplishments for Easton, the crown jewel has now been open two weeks. I can only be speaking of Tiffany’s. Walking into their showroom is not like experiencing heaven, it’s like having arrayed before you in glass display cases.

Predictably, the salespeople were slightly intimidating. Clearly, they know where they work. This is not to say they are snobbish or standoffish. Andrew’s could learn from them. Once they noticed my eyes on something, they were cordial and insightful. Always willing to show me any piece I wished to see and talk me through any questions I had about that piece. Overall, their customer interaction was in the top three of stores I visited.

What can you say about their product? How does one compliment Rembrandt on his painting or John Mayer on how he plays the piano? Their product is exquisite. It easily outshines any other at Easton. The other product, keep in mind, isn’t substandard. Tiffany’s is simply Tiffany’s. Another product does not have to be inferior for theirs to be superior.

You can talk forever about their gorgeous collection of rings, they are what the company is known for. With that said, several necklaces and bracelets are worth mentioning. Tiffany’s has every stone and a piece to accent every collection. Now, keep in mind that you will pay more, just like you pay more for Nike shoes or Coach purses... You are paying for the brand, not the item.

As such, girls and boys, Tiffany’s should be the Christmas gift. The engagement ring to make her heart melt, the ear rings for graduation, the bracelet she will constantly brag to her friends about… Buy the stocking stuffers at any other store… Wrap the heart stoppers in their signature box.
