Gum Vanishes & Gun Violence

10 TV: Authorities hope images from surveillance video can help them identify a woman who they believe has stolen several hundred dollars worth of chewing gum from the gift shop inside Nationwide Children's Hospital. According to police, the woman stole packs of gum from the gift shop three times in June… The thefts added up to more than $600, investigators said. Authorities said the woman wore the same clothes during each of the thefts. Anyone with information was asked to call Columbus police.

10 TV: Police said that they were searching for two armed masked men who broke into a west side apartment early Tuesday. The incident occurred at about 4 a.m. in the Ashton Square apartments, located in the 700 block of Countrybrook Drive… According to police, two men kicked in the back door of an apartment where a woman and her small child were inside. Police said that the men were looking for a specific person, who apparently did not live in the apartments. The woman who lives there said that the gunmen threatened her at gunpoint as they demanded to know the whereabouts of the person they were seeking. After pleading for several minutes, police said the men finally left the apartment.

10 TV: A woman apparently called 911 from inside a closet Tuesday after an armed man forced his way into her east side home. Police were called to a home on Bostwick Road at about 5:45 p.m… According to neighbors, the woman who lived in the home said a man armed with a shotgun forced his way inside.
