City Eyes Election Day

10 TV: More than 11,000 people casted absentee ballots in person or by mail ahead of next week's election… The Franklin County Board of Elections said the number of requests for absentee ballots is nearly three times what it was for the last election in May. August elections typically have a lower turnout.

On Election Day, voters will decide on a proposed income tax increase in Columbus. Voters may cast absentee ballots in person through Monday at the Board of Elections office, located at 280 E. Broad Street. The office will be open from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday. Monday's hours will be 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
