Twenty-Something Victims & Violators

10 TV: A man was arrested and charged Wednesday in connection with the death of a 4-month-old girl. Izabella Fields died on July 29 after she was transported to Nationwide Children's Hospital from a home on Snyder Court, located on the city's northeast side. An autopsy later revealed that the child died from head trauma and her death was ruled a homicide, police said. On Wednesday, Richard Davidson was apprehended in Knox County and charged in connection with Fields' death. Davidson, 25, faces charges of murder and felonious assault.

10 TV: Police said that a man died Thursday afternoon after he was shot earlier in the day. Dominque L. Searcy, 21, died at Grant Medical Center shortly before 2 p.m., according to police. The shooting took place in the 1000 block of Studer Avenue on the south side. Investigators said that at about 12:30 p.m., Searcy was found lying on the sidewalk in front of a home.
